It appears that Tim Kaine has defied the odds and taken
Virginia's governership. Sadly, the lt. governer and attorney general look like they will be Republicans although they are very close races with margins less than 1%.
I rejoice for Virginia and New Jersey which have decided to stick with functional public servants. However, I still believe, overall, we should give up.
