So, the Republicans have gotten all fiscal-disciplinny on us saying, "we've got to cut the budget by some token amount so we don't look like reckless spenders! Lets cut prescription benefits for poor pregnant women!"

It's never the defense contractors that get cut. I mean, defense is something like a third of the national budget, and they can't find a single stupid program to cut? I just know they have some stupid shit being worked on at the pentagon like the development of banana-deployed switchblades, or a bomb that selectively blows up cabbage warehouses. Oh crap. I've said too much.
