I am intrigued by this headline, "Bin Laden's No. 2 releases poetry tape Al-Zawahiri recording doesn't mention CIA attempt to kill him"
I think we should have a Give Up blog Poetry competition for titles and poems that sound like they would have been written by a member of al Qaeda.
I'll go first:
I think that I shall never see
a jihad as lovely as a tree.
A tree whose bloody sword is prest
Against the infidel's evil chest;
A tree that looks at Allah all day,
And kneels on barky knees to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
Plastic explosives in his hair;
Upon whose bosom sand has lain;
And a wish to destroy a train.
Jihads are made by holy warriors like me,
But only Allah can make a tree.
