Our favorite Charlottesville ruffian has been sentenced to 15 years behind bars for his second bicycle-induced antisocial behavior. The local paper has the story
here.
And why do we call him antisocial? Let's see what the article says:
"Zimmerman stabbed [the victim] in the market, fled in his friend’s vehicle, disposed of the knife on Rio Road and
went bowling."
Hey, I just killed a man! Let's go bowling!
Oh, and this wasn't his first act of bicycle-induced mayhem:
"Zimmerman was convicted of assault and battery in 2004."
Farewell, Stabby!

Ha!
It was a beautiful November morning in 2004, I remember it like yesterday. After all, it's hard to forget when some psycho runs across traffic to try to knock you off your bike.

I don't remember this guy; did he only become infamous after I left or what?
Also, rev. dr., you have got to elaborate on that story. What on Earth did he do that for? Did you call the fuzz on his ass?

Oh yes, well reading that last line I suppose you did call the police and press charges. Fast conviction too, I guess.
Still, I want to know about the circumstances.
(I'm also not entirely clear on who is who around here -- is the rev. dr. BK or CC? Also you can email me at [minimalist1 at gmail dot com] if you don't want to go into it publically.)

I yelled at his girlfriend for nearly running me over with her SUV as she turned directly into my path.
Thinking that he nor anyone he knows can ever be in the wrong, he felt the need to run through the street screaming and tried to knock me off my bike. I got off, called the cops and they arrested him. Not too difficult.
