Maybe it was the hypocritical lobbying for casinos, maybe it was Abramoff's pronouncement that Reed's morality was for sale, maybe it was his attempt to defraud old black people's life insurance, but for whatever reason, Reed's political career, or at least his public one, has reached
an end. His bid for lieutenant Governor of Georgia is officially over.
