This weekend Reen and I went to see the Henri Rousseau exhibit
Jungles in Paris at the National Gallery of art. Sadly this painting wasn't there, which I remember my parents liked and had on the wall when I was growing up.
Either way, the cheesiness and early nationalistic pandering of Rousseau has inspired me. I want to create a new breed of art that I like to call "awesome art." Examples will follow soon.
