We've got three big Republican cover-ups, first, news that Republicans knew that Foley
liked fondling the pages since 2001 and were warning pages to avoid him.
The blotter includes a
2003 IM conversation representive Feeley had with a page.

The second, that
the Whitehouse covered-up a meeting between Tenet and Rice on an imminent Al Qaeda attack from the 9/11 commission. The third, big surprise, is that Bush has been
lying about the sitation in Iraq.
The last two are both from Woodward. Does this mean he's an investigative reporter again? Because for about 5 years there, he seemed like he was Bush's BFF.

I haven't followed Woodward much lately; why the perception that he'd been smooching up to the Bushies?
I've only read synopses of Plan of Attack, but it sounds like it was pretty damning in a lot of ways. Talking about, for instance, how Rumsfeld wanted to spin the 9/11 attacks into an attack on Iraq mere hours after the towers fell.
From what I can tell, Woodward supports the war in a "Hussein was a brutal dictator and needed to go" way; a position I understand and held by many people of good faith. I don't quite see how that translates into a love-letter to the Bush admin, though.
I have to wonder though: if he really was kissing the administration's ass, maybe it was just to get close enough to get some real dirt from reluctant insiders.

Bush at War was the love letter that most people were shaking their heads over.
Like you say though, it might have been to establish a trust that he could then exploit.
