The movie features a scene in a motor home where Cohen gets drunk with three frat boys who go on a racist rant about how they wished they had slaves and how minorities in the United States "have all the power."
Hm. Isn't this also somewhat like Mel Gibson's thing? They didn't announce that they're checking into rehab, so I suspect that they're something like law students trolling for easy cash and building-up street cred.
Did they identify their major and frat? I haven't seen the movie yet. I usually wait till these movies get to the $1.00 movie in a few months.
These guys were living stereotypes and no foolin'. Fat, spoiled, drunk on cheap beer and driving across the country on Daddy's money... while complaining about how the "minorities" have it so much better in this country.
Just about everyone I knew thought it was as staged as the Pam Anderson scene, but now with this lawsuit I'm convinced that they're real. This is the type of person who pulled the lever for George Macaca Allen, or that Repub who ran the "my black opponent luvs the white wimmen" ads. Depressing to think they still exist.
I just read the complaint PDF. I laughed hearty throughout but I think what I find the funniest is that in this YouTube world something could appear only in Europe. And these are to be college graduates in the great state of South Carolina. I'm getting all verklempft grasping this.
They got $200 and the movie's gonna make $200M. Seems fair for South Carolina college graduates. They better be on the DVD when it comes out.
Chi Psi released a statement on the Borat movie. They'll use it as an opportunity to discuss among themselves and grow.
